Hello, Hello

 Our fist glimpse of Charlotte.

We flew in at night (obviously). March 11, 2014

The next day we moved into our Charlotte home.

After living with our kind and patient family for the last 3 1/2 years it felt so good to have a place of our own!

 Of course after moving in there were weeks of unpacking and living in and around boxes.

 Here is Addi at the local library, we spent a lot of time here in our first few weeks.

Getting her into school was not as easy as just showing up to school.

She wanted to keep up with her Chinese, but the program in Utah and the program here are different and she didn't end up going into the program.  It was hard for her to loose a part of her schooling and a part of herself that she was so pleased with but after the weeks of trying to get everything arranged she was just happy to go to school!

Brand-new room in a brand-new place.
