Addi had the opportunity to participate in an elementary golf event.
. The PE teacher got to choose one boy and one girl to go to this event. She got the opportunity by being the only girl to put their name in the hat.
She has never held a golf club before...she did pretty well though.
Beginners luck perhaps.
She was visibly nervous on the first "hole" because she had no idea how to use a golf club, but she got lucky...that gave her the confidence she needed to carry on.
Their little team won and they got pictures with Mr. Hornet from the Charlotte Hornets NBA team.
(I know his name is not Mr. Hornet but I don't know what it is.)
