Past the Point of No Return

I am no quilter and this is why, all this time and fabric and I don't love it...maybe it will grow on me.

Are you kidding? I think it's cool.

I agree with Ellen. That's a nice quilt! And it's handmade by you! Which makes it cooler than it was before with being a quilt.

It looks like a quilt I would use for picnics, beaches, parks and so forth. Or even on the bed as a summer quilt. It has a nice light feeling with it.

Great job!

Honestly, I like it, I do think the brown and black looks a little like tetris, but...I think it'll grow on you and I especially when it's on her bed because I think that it will match and blend and whatever else with her room and decor.

First, I love it. Second, I know how you feel. I started a quilt for a friend and never finished because. . .well, you understand. Also, I guess I should say, third, the swap I just sent you is so horrible I am now regretting I sent you. Please don't cancel the swaps based on this. I promise not to cover a toilet paper box in quilted fabric. There are so many things I want to say to justify my horrible effort. But, I think my over-explanation may make it worse. Sorry. You=awesome. Me=pathetic.

Angi,
After chatting last night at Kimball's, I thought I'd snoop around your blog. I am in love with the quiet book you made for Theo, Addi is the cutest kid ever (and so lucky to have you as her mama), and I can't believe that you SLEEP with your lawyer. Funny gal, you are. I think maybe I should-a done JOY school to teach my kids some of those enduring values. Instead, we send Conor off to preschool so that he can learn to tell me he's "unique" -- that's why he does naughty things! Oh well. We're all trying.

Your quilt isn't as cool as your quiet book, but I still like it.
