Dress Up!!

Addi loves to dress up and she gets some fancy outfits going.

But the funniest is when she dresses up Randall

Ahhh the Christmas Card

While our Christmas card picutre this year was an obvious snapshot I thought it turned out pretty well...especially considering the pain and suffering of getting an acceptable shot. It took us over an hour of adjusting lighting, timing, crying and bribery to get this picture. Even Randall was getting upset toward the end, and as irony would have it the one we used was the second shot. But I thought you all would like to see some outtakes.

This is what you saw....

And this is what you didn't

Though this picutre is very dark and it is hard to see any people
you can't help but notice the "angry smile" and the death grip trying
to keep Addi's hands down.

This was one of our last ones and we were finally getting it right
if Addi could just keep her eyes open.

This is when it all falls apart.

Hope you enjoyed the little show
Merry Christmas!

Forgive Me

Please forgive me for the disjointed posts...I'm still a beginner.

Weekend at the Cabin

Addi and I spent this last weekend with our friends from the ward at a cabin in North Conway, New Hampshire. We had a BLAST!!! It was very snowy and she had tons of fun playing in all of the snow. We also went to a near by ski resort and went tubing it was very fun. The kids stayed busy with the game room (ping-pong, air hockey, fooze ball and X-box) and Christmas crafts. We decorated gingerbread houses, sugar cookies and ornaments. And after the kids were read to, bathed and in bed the parents burned the midnight oil playing games and doing "idiot olympics." The olympic events were, 1) Men's midnight, barefoot race around the cabin, where Erin won, and Peter came in second literally dragging Todd (3rd) by his shirt and 2) Women's snow face plant contest, that's where you hold your face in the snow as long as you can, and the last one up wins. Ashley was first up because of a small urinary problem that was becoming all too common, I won but Brooke got the worst frostbite on her face so I think she should get some credit for that. Unfortunately Randall had to stay home to study for his finals and aside from that it was a perfect weekend with good friends good food and heaps of fun! Can't wait for next year!!

Arriving in the 21st Century

I had a friend tell me today that I needed to join the 21st century. Primarily because we don't have a cell phone, or GPS and just switched from film to digital in the last 2 weeks. So this, for me, is a big step. I was (and am still fairly confident) that no one is too interested in what I have to say but I am excited about this new way to chronicle the life of my own family and to keep in touch with our families that are so far away. So, to catch up here are some pictures from this fall.
