Grammie's Jammie Party
Our first annual Grammie's Jammie party was a hit!
It all started with the Gingerbread Boy story...

Utah: Day No. 1
We woke up in Utah to a lightly snow crusted morning and couldn't resist.

Photo Tag
My friend Megan did a universal photo tag where you are supposed to pick up your camera right then and change (clean) nothing and take the following pictures:
(I of course read the tag after a long day of Joy School and dance class, as you will see the kitchen did not survive the two cooking projects plus lunch for Joy School, and the two batches of fudge)
(I swear it is not usually like this, my mother would be so ashamed)
Something in your house that is red(an ash bucket too cute for ashes)
The view from your front door.(this is just the back yard but after living in apartments for so long it feels like our own private resort)
(crusty eggs...for dinner)
No one who is reading this could possibly be in a sadder condition, so you better do it and leave a comment so we can all see your sweet pics.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas
As I am filtering through the over 500 pictures I took on my trip to Utah I thought I'd tide everyone over with a little video of the girls singing on the swing.
(Addi, Gabi, and my sisters; Haylee, Gracie and Savannah)

Keep it Real
I usually do my Christmas shopping in the summer and I did, but then I wanted to hand-make something for my family members. And as many know it is a staggering number. Lately I've found myself so busy, and mostly with things that I've put upon myself, that I was not appreciating the significance the season as I should. I remembered being a child and having only one thing to worry about...how many days until Christmas, and to make sure my secret buddy didn't find out who I was...OK I guess I had two things to worry about. So, I've tried to slow down and condense (not easy for me to do) and I feel like I've cleared the clutter and can focus on the REAL Christmas.

Decorating the first tree you're old enough to appreciate and remember: Priceless.
