K-Camp No. 2

PIONEER DAY

After we put on our pioneer garb and braided and bunned hair,

we started stitching possibles bags.

 Mixing up some trail mix.

We hid the baggies of snacks for the kids to forage.

 Gathering sticks for the "fire" (there are still fire restrictions for Alpine).

 Collecting water for the washing

 Then we had them trek up the hillside.

 We had some sick babies on the trail but they made it.

 We met some American Indian friends.

The company was attacked by a wolf, Addi was bitten and had to ride in the sick wagon, but she recovered.

 

 We came back to the camp to make some scones for our chili lunch.
